I got this unit about in August of 2023. It's now June of 2024 and I've had the unit for less than a year. I used it in August and September of 2023. The unit produced cold air but was never able to cool off a whole room. I had 2 ACs and had to use them both. If you have an enclosed 10x10 area this unit would cool it off. Anything bigger and you'll need more BTUs.I didn't use it much in 2023 and turned it on again in 5/2024. I ran it pretty much everyday, 24/7 and 6/25/2024 the unit stopped producing cool air. The flow of water wasn't coming out anymore and I suspect a water pump might be broken. If you tip the unit and remove the excess water, then the unit starts cooling again. But you have to do it every 15 minutes manually. Otherwise the water doesn't come out and the unit stops cooling. So essential this unit is broken. I used it for about 4 months out of the year I had it. I just ordered another better dual hose unit from Amazon. So I have about a week of heat to bear. Buy at your own risk!Update - 06/24 The unit was not cooling off. Water would build up but then when you tilt the AC it would start blowing cool air again. And then the pump kicked in about 2 hours after of running it. Now it's working like before except I keep it at 70 degrees. Instead of 62 like before. Water comes out normally. And keep in mind I run this 24 7 non stop! So so far so good. Definitely worth the price... I'll keep you updated. Cancelled the other AC for now BTW.

This air conditioner works great and keep my room cold at night so that I can get some decent sleep. Much better than having one stuck in the window. The exhaust hose goes in the wind but unless you are looking for it you don’t notice it so it keeps the outside of your home looking good instead of a window mount air conditioner. Saves money not running the whole house system.

Haven't gotten an energy bill yet so don't know how much power it uses. Remote control works well, size isn't too big or too small. Relatively quiet operation, cools room in about 20 minutes. Only part you have to assemble is the hose exhaust kit not to hard. Only downside is you have to manually drain the condensation or water it produces while using or use a hose to let it drain itself.

This unit is being used to cool down a master bedroom and it does a good job of doing it. You just have to eliminate the hot air that comes out of the exhaust tube in the back somehow. The exhaust tube it comes with is a little short at only about 5 ft. You can get creative with how you get rid of the hot air if you need more than 5 ft, as you can see in the photo. As a temporary solution, I cut up the box it came with for some extra distance in funneling the hot air to an unused room down the hall. This surprisingly does work but I do plan on purchasing an additional length of tubing to exhaust better than this temporary setup. Whatever you set the temperature to the unit will kick on the compressor when it needs to cool down and then it shuts off the compressor and lets the fan blow the remainder of the cold air out. This is good for energy management. You can also point the fans on the front up or down to direct the wind better. I've been using it for days now and I have not seen the warning that it is filled with water yet, so you probably don't have to dump the water out too often. I was worried that there may not be good customer service, but when I contacted them with an issue I had, they were quick to respond and helped me with my issue. This is a well-priced, portable air conditioner and it seems to be pretty well-built. Overall I would recommend it!

A regular window unit air conditioner is so much better. This didn't control humidity. The unit heats up which is not helpful when you're trying to stay cool. Do not buy!!!

I was skeptical but it works great, the only thing I had to adjust to is when it shuts down then starts up again frequently, it's normal it's nothing you can't adjust too.its just how it cycles. Keep the plug for the water in,I thought having a bowl for it to drip into like how an a/c unit drips would be ok ill just empty the bowl lol ya don't do that woke up to a VERY wet carpet. Since plugging the hole no problems leaking. Haven't had to drain it either been using it for over 2 months now. Definitely recommend. Easy to install too. Don't need a big window opening either just big enough for the hose part. Comes with extenders for longer windows. I did line underneath with Styrofoam just for tighter seal. And noise from outside.

Update on product! After couple weeks of sorting some things out, the company did replace the faulty one including shipping. That was most appreciated. It’s been working well. Guess the main thing is to be an update on product description be R32 not R410aStarted up 7-12, compressor started short cycling 8-09 so couldn’t maintain the 76-78 deg it had fine up to that point. Now! The product ad specs located in additional prod info showes 8k btu, R410a and the product data label on the unit shows 5k btu, R32. Hmmm. Not sure what I got. Initiated product return 8-11-24. Trying to upload some pics with this.

Me impresionó el tamaño noce porque pero imaginé que sería más pequeño pero me encanta enfría bien el área muy rápido solo quería preguntar si es normal que mientras está en uso se apague por si solo? Esa es mi única duda ya con lo demás es magnífico
