Otterly Pets Puppy Dog Pet Rope Toys - Medium to Large Dogs (5-Pack)

This is a great selection of goodies for a great price! My dogs love everything in the bag, but their favorite is the ball on a string... As you can see! :) My larger dog, Alexander, is 153 lbs and my smaller dog, Nova is about 70 lbs. The toys are big enough for both of them! Nova is a heavy chewer. I've had the toys for a week so far, and they're all in tact, holding up great to being played with. That being said, I don't expect these to last forever. They are not meant to. But I can say that I'll definitely be ordering more from this company as long as their stuff is available on Amazon! I'm super pleased with the price and the quality of these toys. My dogs are huge fans as well! My male dog is 1/2 great pyrenees and 1/2 rottweiler. My female dog is 1/2 husky and 1/2 pit bull. Male is 5, almost 6. Female is 9 months.

Excellent quality rope toys. Thought they might be low quality due to low cost and selling multiple ropes together. Boy was I wrong. All are excellent quality and dog loves every one of them. Our Golden Retriever puppy loves them and cannot begin to destroy these rope toys. Adult dogs can probably eventually chew them to shreds but it will definitely take a lot of chewing and work before that happens. Definitely recommend.

In my opinion, like soft toys, rope toys should only be provided when you’ll be able to monitor your pup. I am returning to purchase these ropes for the second time and thought I’d leave a review along the way. I’m re-purchasing, bc a few of them were in great shape but ended up covered in poo and were thrown out, one has become grimey from being left outside (tho still very sturdy) and I plan to toss it, and one (the rope with the ball and loop) was shredded. My pup will eat stuffing of soft toys and string from rope if I don’t stop him, so I look at it as my responsibility to monitor him while playing with these types of toys. That said, they are generally pretty sturdy and held up well with my now 1 year old German Shepherd who likes to chew and gnaw. Generally, if he switches from fetch/tug-of-war play to sit and chew play I’ll redirecting him to a bone/antler that he can safely ‘dig into’ and save the ropes and soft toys for other play. But that’s just me! :) (see photos for comparison of when we got it vs now , a 7.5 m difference )

I love getting these toys because they keep my house (and the things in it) in one piece. They get torn apart and they make a HUGE mess but my dogs love them and these keep them busy. For those reviewers that complain about durability seem to miss the point of these toys. They are meant to be destroyed and let's face it, they are made of cotton thread, so how long would you really expect them to last? Good value and happy dogs. When these are completely done, I will buy more!

We adopted a dog from a shelter..hes about 35 lbs..thats 35 lbs of pure muscle..hes about 1 1/2 years old..He tears up a rope toy in a day..sometimes it only lasts hours. This bag of toys I bought him are just amazing me and him also..I love that hes not able to destroy the rope ball right away. Hes been working on it for a couple weeks now and its showing just a little wear. We will buy the toys from this seller from now on! You just can't go wrong, at least our dog can't destroy it quickly. Its fun watching him try to though! We and our dog, Rosco, love the toys!!UPDATE**** The toys are all in shreds...I do not blame this company for that...it's this dog. I cannot find a single toy that he does not destroy in hours!

With any toy, I first rate on whether my dog likes the toy or not and then I rate on how long it lasts. I have a 50 lb male Portuguese water dog who love chewing on stuff. He also enjoys a few rigorous games of tug-a-war every day. I've bought him toys in the past that he loves and have seen him destroy less than 30 minutes. Bought a pack of these and he loves them. He will fetch them, play tug of war with me using these, and when I'm wore out, he will sit by my feet and chew on them. I don't give them all out at once, but after a month of use, two of these are holding up really well - hardly any wear on them. I figure I can get over 6 months of use out of the entire pack and that's more than most toys. Two packs of these each year is worth the price for the enjoyment my dog gets out of them.

Ok, these toys are awesome!! Our dog is a power chewer and can easily go through most toys in a day. We have had these for almost 3 weeks now and I have not had to throw one away yet! She is always carrying one of these around the house or sleeping with one. Great find! UPDATE: Although these lasted a very long time, when they did start to come apart, she was eating the tiny strings and we were picking up strings EVERYWHERE. So, as much as I had hoped we would continue using them, I had to get rid of them. :(

These toys are great, I purchased them for my 4 month old German Shepherd Pup who is in the chewing stage. They keep her interested and the variety is wonderful allowing her to play with our other dogs too. Her favorite seem to be the rope pull that she carries around every where. I had looked at numerous other sets but this has the variety we were looking for at a very good price. The fact that there is such a variety allows us to have a variety for her to play with daily. The quality is as good if not better than the higher priced toys found in the pet stores. These have cut down on her chewing things she is not allowed to by leaps and bounds. I would highly recommend these to other pet owners.
