Edit: 5 stars to 1. Less than a year later, it has stopped working entirely.I went with the flush hub design instead of a chord because I felt it appeared cleaner and kept my desk more organized, though this may not be the best decision for the 2015 Macbook. The gold isn't *quite* right, but it's pretty damn close. And I do understand other reviewers concerns about the possibility of it breaking, with the only solid contact point that keeps the hub connected to the Macbook is the Type-C port itself, there isn't anywhere else for it to hang on (and I'm not sure what the solution design-wise would be if you want a hub that is flush vs a wire) if that makes sense. It does what it needs to do, I just recommend always having it on a flat surface and not yanking out your chords. I'll update in a few months after more use to see how it's holding up.

This hub operates as billed but I find it annoying that the two usb inputs and the well as the SD input are upside down. Further, when charging my computer the hub gets very hot. I'm a little concerned about fire. I've stopped charging my computer through the hub and use it exclusively when I need to use a flash drive or SD card. And yes, any similar device will become warm to the touch but not like this one

Its okay.... It doesn't seem very sturdy in the port on my MacBook. I feel like over time it would damage the port. I would recommend getting the kind with the cord

after two years of use, it stopped working. It was working fine before that. The only complain that I had was the color did not quite match to my macbook as I thought.
