This electric shaver is amazing, I have been using a 3 blade razor for the past 25yrs and just recently decided to try an electric shaver for the very first time. I am 56yrs young and I am a Fitness & Wellness Trainer and a Black male so getting the right electric shaver for myself took some research.I decided on the Telfun Shaver after researching all the electric shavers that were available from all pricing points and for me it isn't ever about price but always about the best results.Black men have always had a problem with shavers because of our hair mostly growing back ingrown in our skin but this electric razor is the best and I plan on buying and additional one so that I can alternate them with each other every week. It is very easy to clean in running water and purchase a additional blade when you decide to buy.I shave my head and face once a day and this electric razor is just great, I haven't used it in the shower or emerged it in water and I won't eventhough it says it is water proof, I just don't want to take the chance of it stop working, but I do use it wet everyday with shaving cream on my head and face and it works great. The battery life is great also, I keep it charged after every use and this electric shaver is very easy to use.It has been 30days for me since I purchased it and was definitely a good investment, the travel case that it comes in is nice so I have nothing negative to say, it's definitely worth the investment. Martin(Update to first Review) This electric shaver is great and worth the money, I haven't had any issues with it at all great battery life, very easy to clean and I have very sensitive skin, I haven't ever broken out on my head or face. I use it to shave my head and face every day, so for Black Men this electric shaver is one of the best for us!!!

Update: 11/30/31: This bad boy worked wonderfully. Every other day on the dot for nearly 9 months. I even traveled with it. Used it exclusively in the shower with either shave gel or balm. Max time it took to get a nice consistent shave is about 3 mins. Yesterday morning after 30 seconds of use I noticed what sounded like a high pitch grind coming from it, definitely not the smooth shave sound I've heard from it. I cleaned it, oiled it the turned it on and the sound was still there. I tried to continue as I was halfway done and struggled through. The shave was inconsistent and I had to go over my head several times. I think a blade or something may have bent somewhere. Who knows. I've dropped this thing a few times which is why my rating stays at 5 stars. I definitely recommend it for all my bald head buddies looking for a solution to the expensive stuff or Gillette blades. I'll be buying a replacement for sure.Only con: DON'T USE THE NOSE TRIMMER. It doesn't cut cleanly. A few times you'll feel a pull on your hairs.Initial unboxing 3/1/21: nicely packed, looks to be fully charged upon receiving, digital screen says 90 minutes remaining. Nice case, looks to be a hard neoprene of some sort, has a separate pocket for the charger or whatever else you need for travel (toothbrush, travel toothpaste, small cologne, small lotion... maybe a few of those but not all will fit. The last shaver I bought was somewhat similar to this, though didn't look as nice, lasted about 5 months before it started to turn on randomly after using it every other day. I had to destroy it after it turned on 3 times in the middle of the night. Frequent use in the shower must of affected it. Hopefully this one holds up for longer. I value a smooth head, just don't want to use electric clippers any more or a blade.

I have a lot of hair but prefer a bald head with my beard. I used my nice razors for.my head which made them full quickly. Figured I'd give this a try and it's awesome!It actually got surprisingly close to my skin (about 1-day of growth after a razor shave) and came fully charged. I've shaved my head 7 times so far and haven't drained the battery past halfway yet. It has a good feel in your hand, and the attachments work well also.The downside is cleaning the head shaver. It gets packed pretty quickly, and you have to be careful opening it to clean it as they feel very flimsy.Honestly, worth every penny. Quicker than shaving cream and razor blades, no nicks or cuts, and zero mess. Love it!

I was skeptical when I bought this but almost a year later and no major issues. Battery life is excellent, gives a good, close shave and easy to hold. Pretty easy to clean too. I'd recommend, especially if it's your first time trying this type of razor.

First of all, without taking into account the durability of the shaver, its performance was somewhat basic. It certainly wasn’t excellent but it wasn’t entirely terrible. I do think there are lower priced shavers available that perform just as well as this one.However, given that you’re paying a little more for the same performance, you’d think that it’d at least be durable. This has not been the case for me. Within the first week, the guard from the beard trimmer was falling apart. Also, the trimmer itself isn’t great. It frequently tugs and pulls at hairs rather than cutting them.The whole inclusion of multiple shaving devices is frustrating because it’s become apparent that it’s just a marketing ploy rather than an effort to provide a quality product. If the company had left out the faulty extras they might have been able to offer a better product at the same price.After two months, the head shaver started falling apart. The piece that has fallen off does not fit back in so easily which makes the process of shaving and cleaning the device extra tedious.It seems that the plastic used is quite brittle, meaning that repeated use (the type of repeated use you would have in let’s say shaving/grooming) will lead to breakage rather quickly.Super disappointed.Update (July 18, 2023): It has now fallen apart completely and is entirely useless. I bought this product for my husband to shaving his head and the cord is not working anymore. Can I purchase a cord? I need a cord so he can charge his clippers up to cut his hair. Thanks.

So, I bought this shaver set about six weeks ago, and wanted to wait until I had used it a few times before leaving a review. Well, it's a great little shaver and well worth the money! Faced with a steadily declining threadcount, I finally gave up the fight against time's constant march at the start of July. Frankly, I'm glad to have finally pulled the plug (as opposed to getting plugs) and this shaver has made embracing my inner Captain Picard about a million times easier than it might've been otherwise.I wanted a shaver that would get as close to the scalp as possible, and this unit does the job. It never leaves any nicks or cuts and the shave is as close as could be without going to the wet blade route... and really, who has time for that carry on every morning? I'm still new to the Uncle Fester look, so I tend to go over every spot a few times, and this shaver still does the job in under ten minutes. One thing I'll suggest, though, is to plan to shower afterwards; a few times I've run this thing over my scalp and headed right out the door, only to find myself itchy from the hair "dust" left behind.Battery life is great. Mine arrived charged, and after five weeks of using the shaver every 2-3 days, I finally had to plug it in for the first time yesterday. The USB charger does not include a plug-in block, though, so you'll need to borrow one from another device or grab a spare from the junk drawer. Heck, in a pinch you could charge this shaver off your PlayStation 3, I guess.Cleaning the shaver head is easy. The outer blades flip open, and the centre blade pops out with a little twist. The set includes a little brush to get all the hair dust out of the nooks and crannies. It takes less than a minute, and you'll get a better shave if you keep the blades clean.I can't say much about other accessories. I've only used the smaller clipper attachment to trim my sideburns, and it works well. The travel case the set comes with keeps everything together and stores away neatly. My set arrived without any outer packaging, but all of the pieces inside were individually shrinkwrapped so I know it was not a used unit being sold as new. Everything included seems very well-made and easily as durable as Dwayne "The Rock" Johnson's box office record.Overall, I would highly recommend this shaver set. The price was great, and the performance I'm getting is exactly what I was looking for.
