I can’t believe the difference in my legs! The first picture was taken a month ago and the second picture was taken today. The redness/discoloration is so much lighter. These are scars from surgeries or other incidental injuries. I’m a senior citizen and I couldn’t stand the way my legs looked. This product is wonderful. It said it can take up to three months to see improvement and I’m seeing this much after only a month! I am applying at religiously twice a day. Very, very happy.

This helped my facial scar from surgery. It was a thick scar, now it is flat. Works really well. Less is more when using.

Small tube, but a little goes a long way! I've used the scar-away silicone sheets in the past, and the tube definitely lasts longer than a package of the sheets. I can tell the gel stays on well overnight. I do think the sheets add more pressure to a scar, if you are concerned about a raised/keloid scar forming, while the gel is better for coloration concerns (at least in my experience. YMMV!) Also, the sheets do not adhere well over something like moisturizer or lotion, while the gel does work on top, if that is a concern!

At first I didn’t buy this for my knee replacement surgery because of the price. I first purchased a less expensive silicone tape. It was okay, but I wasn’t seeing any change to the scar. When I had my second surgery a friend recommended the ScarAway tape that his doctor had given him for his face. I purchased both, but started with the gel. It’s a tiny tube, but I don’t even need a pea sized drop for each knee, so a little goes a long way! I’ve been using it steadily for the last two weeks (I’m 6 months and 7 weeks, respectively out of surgery) and there is a very noticeable improvement on my scars. The first knee scar was an ugly raised purple scar that is now almost completely flat and is fading just as fast as my newer scar. I’m so happy with the results.

I purchased this product after trying a few other scar products with no success. I have a rather large cesarean scar from when I had my son 28 years ago and because of my body chemical change because I'm going to perimenopause now many things can irritate that scar when it's being touched by my clothing. This project has really helped reduce the irritation. In fact there's no longer irritation when there is clothing tension it. I'm finally glad that I found a product that brings a huge relief.

Fell out of bed, had a gash behind my left cheek bone. Discovered the benefits of crazy glue for skin at the ER, avoided stitches, and healed nicely. My step dtr’s an urgent care doctor- suggested scar gel. First used CVS’ scar gel kit that works well. ScarAway (SA) had good reviews on Amazon so giving it a try. SA’s silicone gel in a tube is thick and lets you massage it in 1-2 minutes for a protective layer during the day. SA’s silicone bandage can be cut to size, is textured, though it peels off at night while sleeping. CVS silicone bandages are clear, can also be sized, and stay on through the night. Drawback is CVS’ gel comes in a roller to apply a thin coating, though seems to last during the day. Overall- studies show medical grade silicone in these two products is better vs onion based products for making scars less noticeable.

I used this after having skin cancer removed from my nose, and it really helped improve the look of the scar. It’s easy to apply, dries clear, and I could wear it during the day without it being noticeable. After a few weeks of consistent use, the scar became softer and less red. It does take time and won’t completely erase the scar, but it definitely made a difference. I’d recommend it for anyone dealing with a facial scar.

Bought this for my husband after his knee replacement and he used it as directed. It really has made the scar much less noticeable.

This is the only thing that worked. It’s a tiny tube, probably will need quite a few for full effect but saved me having to get dermabrasion which was next step!
