I first discovered Bisto on a trip to Northern Ireland and was very impressed with its texture and flavor. It's not always easy to find it throughout the US, so I bought it at Amazon. If you want gravy that is quick and easy to prepare, I highly recommend Bisto.

Coming from the UK I cannot live without my Bisto. This is the best stuff to make brown gravy and it is so easy to make. If you have not had Bisto before this is really worth trying out. This beats buying those small brown gravy sachets that they sell at the grocery store. Just add hot water. You can use as many granules as you like depending on how thick you want the gravy. The taste is not strong which gives you the option to add a little seasoning for taste. The tub itself is cardboard with a plastic lid which actually keep the granules fresh, there is no need to refrigerate this once opened. Considering there are 3 tubs in this package the price is pretty reasonable. The expiry date on these are July 2026 which is plenty of time for me.

Best British instant gravy. Try to never run out. Best with roast beef, but great with all roasted meats.
