I purchased this bed for my husband's convalesence at home after his discharge from the hospital. This bed performed the same functions as his hospital bed, as far as raising his back and legs. The height was perfect for him. The mattress that came with the bed was good and sturdy, but I added a thick, twin bamboo mattress topper (another Amazon buy) for his comfort. The night light under the bed helped when he initially woke during the night. It wasn't too bright or too dim.When the box arrived, it was heavy for this 66-year old woman to lift but I could push it to where I needed it to be. It took me 2 hours to unbox and assemble the bed. When I saw that the cords dangled onto the floor, I added cord clips under the frame to hold them in place. The side bars were a great help too. At first, I had the covers on, but I later removed them so my husband could easily grab onto the bars to help him rise up and get out of bed. In all, a fantastic buy.

The 6 inches mattress is missing!!

These adjustable hospital beds are just what the doctor ordered (excuse the pun). They are comfortable and the remote is easy to use. Assembly was straight forward although they are heavier than I thought they would be o it is better with two people. I like that the sides don’t have to be used. I used them on my wives bed because she needs the fall protection. All in all these are a comfortable and reasonably priced solution.

This bed is of a much higher quality than I expected for $600. It is very functional and works flawlessly. The preset positions are great. The mattress is very comfortable, soft yet firm. I purchased the single sized bed which is more than adequate for me. I am 5’ 7” and 150lbs. For a larger person you may want a longer or larger bed. Very happy with the purchase.

Bought this for my elderly parents. The height is perfect for them to get in and out of bed. My dad really likes the head raise feature so that he can read in bed. Highly recommended.

I just gpt my new bed set up and good to go!! So far I love it. My family does too.I think this bed will help me to sleep much better as I have two chronic respratory diseasus. Along with comfort it has a very nice look to it, So glad U found this. Do be warned though, while easy to do the minor assembly, the main box is very heavy anf two people to zturdy it etc. are very helpful.
