Easy to install if you follow these steps. Took me 45 minutes in between sipping coffee and changing music at times. Use a string and tape to tape one end of string to thread of bolt. shoe string worked great and fish the bolt from the inside through the hole. Carefully hold bolt in place while you put the heat shield on and thread the nut with lock washer on. I also put a lock washer on other side of bolt so it would grab as I tightened. It's a pain to try and hold the other end in place while you tighten so a lock washer helped a lot by grabbing and holding still while you tighten the nut. Wasn't bad at all like I expected. I bought these deflectors for a 2019 Road King FLHR which is supposedly the same as a 2018 Road King FLHR. The left side deflector is a perfect match. The right side deflector does NOT fit without modification. If you compare these deflectors with the original ones from HD, you'll notice they are not symmetric. The right side OEM deflector has two holes near the top and one near the bottom. The one provided only one hole that does not match the screw hole in the bike frame, therefore, the modification needed. In addition, the screws and washers included are fine, but you will need a couple of clips to attach the bottom screws to the frame. All in all, for the price paid and the quality provided they are quite good. Just be aware that if you are not inclined to modify parts, these may not be for you. I included a picture of the OEM deflectors for the Road King as per the HD parts catalog.

Works on a 2017 Harley Ultra Limited with a slight modification. I needed to 'extend' the top hole for the right deflector (just took a drill bit and 'ground' some away). It was really frustrating for a while until I figured this out (it's kind of a tight spot getting to the bolts, so I spent quite a bit of time trying in vain to attach it). Interestingly, the left deflector installed without needing modification.According to the description, I did not think this would install on a Milwaukee 8/2017 Harley, but it did with this slight modification. I have to say, they make a HUGE improvement and look really awesome.

The product looks good made out of plastic as expected but looks like real chrome doesn't look cheap at all. Gave it a 4 because there was bolts and washers with no nuts in the bag, easy fix had more nuts at the house. Highly recommend would buy again!

I installed the 2 peace and riding on the highway the wind rip it completely of! Cheap plastic, do not buy! And the company does not stand behind their product, so you won’t have any luck getting any help.

The only thing good about these is the chrome finish. The left went on fine, but the right one you'll need to drill a hole to mount the thing. Then once you do the plastic fin will be resting upon the rocker cover. Rocker cover get pretty hot so my guess is the thing will probably melt. I took it off and chalked the twenty bucks up to another bad experience.

These are painted well and pretty sturdy. But they didn’t include all the hardware necessary to install them. They only include exactly what’s in the pictures. 4 special nuts are required that are not included. Also there are no instructions.

I have a 2016 SG special. it didn't come with mid-frame deflectors, and there are only empty holes where the bolts go. Harley's deflector comes with the clip on nuts to mount this. You cannot get standard nuts onto the backside of the frame. Very disappointed in the the completeness of this product.
