Looking for assistance, she finds what appears to be an abandoned house, but after stumbling inside, she discovers that in fact it’s the scene of a grisly multiple homicide. Simply being at the wrong place at the wrong time, she’s railroaded into a women’s correctional facility and finds herself at the mercy of prison psychiatrist Doctor Kline (Geoffrey Lewis, High Plains Drifter, 10 to Midnight) who has insidious intentions up his sleeve. Evidently, it doesn’t take Rachel long to realize that something is greatly amiss, as female inmates inexplicably go missing without a trace. Jackie Coogan (Chaplin’s The Kid) co-stars. Underwhelming Shock Value
This movie was well shot, well lit, the acting was descent but the plot was pretty muddy and just doesn't really go anywhere. For a 70's "exploitation" flick the shock value was pretty underwhelming. The trivia on this film is interesting, Brit censors all up in arms about this film lol. Seems like the more times change the more they stay the same. Censors still out there clutching their pearls over films while carefully avoiding actual problems. I suppose solving actual problems like poverty are far less fun that watching nudie flicks over and over...all in the interest of purity and morality of course!

70’s movie just what I like

not as good as I remembered first time around
For ages I was looking for this film, but only recently found out the title. I first saw it 1980, and remember being impressed by it as a horror fan.Like a lot of things though, stuff you saw years ago as a teenager seem excellent at the time but when you see them as an adult you think "what did I see in this film?".The film itself isn't awful but it really shows it's age and didn't live up to my vague memories of it. The story is a bit silly and implausible, but the acting by the main character is good. I'd say it was an average 80's horror, worth a look if you can but don't spend too much.

Classy Movie... Unfortunately It Was All Third Class!
I like watching older movies from the 1960s thru the 1980s, there's that reminder of the clothes we wore and the cars we drove, etc. but this film inflicted misery from start to finish. I still don't understand the reason for the conduction of human experiments. The timeline was confusing. From one scene to the next I wondered about the time lapse--a day? a week? a year? I watched the entire film but when it ended I felt relieved. Don't waste your time on this one. It's a stinker!
