Difference between Tonnino "Tuna fillets in olive oil" vs. Tonnino "Tuna ventresca in olive oil" ?

Tuna fillets in olive oil are made from standard cuts, suitable for a variety of dishes like salads and sandwiches. Tuna ventresca in olive oil comes from the tuna's belly, offering a richer, more tender texture ideal for gourmet recipes.

Is this the same tuna that's offered by Tonnino as ventresca in cans?

Both jar and can versions come from the tuna's belly.

Does Tonnino Tuna in spring water have any olive oil added?

No, it is packed in spring water for a leaner option without additional oil.

Tonnino tuna is raw? can it be eaten raw or should it be cooked?

The tuna is cooked and safe to eat directly from the jar or can. You can use it as-is in salads, sandwiches, or other recipes.

Tuna arrived leaking, can I still eat it?

It's best not to consume any leaking or unsealed jar. Contact Tonnino Support via Amazon and we will replace the leaking unit.
