is there suppose to be a plate on the back? Mine just has the filter and it keeps falling out.

The model 777 that I have has a plate across the whole back with the socket for the line cord. Snapped onto this plate is a plastic square piece with a stainless steel screen molded into it. This snaps firmly into place and has never fallen out for me. I also have never needed to remove it to clean it.

Timer apparently doesn't work as machine is still running after allotted time. Anyone else having this issue? what was the work around?
