I used it to connect to a PC laptop with the HDMI cord, which was provided, and it projected well! I used in a very dark or dim room for best picture. I recommend it based on the product quality and price. Review: Good quality - We use the projector mainly to watch movies so far and we are very happy with the results. We prefer to combine it with speakers for the movies for better quality sound. Works perfectly with chromecast.

Not compatible with most items
It is a projector, but it isn't compatible with most items we have tried hooking it up to (computers, laptops and phones). It does work fine with our blueray player.
