I have a larger version that holds a full roll of tape and this smaller tape version, and this one does not despense the tape as easily as the larger version. You have to slightly push the tape back a bit or the unit looses it and it does not staple correctly. Also, the staples seem to bind up in the unit when you get about 2/3 the way through a load of fresh staples. helps to add addtional staples to work correctly. Perhaps the spring is not strong enough.

I don't know if my windows are old, but all these new levers have a hard time opening and closing because of the thickness of the lever bar. I had to use a metal file to shave a little thickness off so that the bar would go over the bottom of the window successfully. If they made these lever bars maybe 1 or 2mm thinner on the bottom, then they'd fit I suspect.

This was mostly a direct replacement for my 60-year old casement window crank assembly, with one minor exception. The original was flush at on bottom at the far end of the crank arm where it engaged the window. I needed to file the bottom on the new one flush to prevent it from catching on the window frame. With that done, it works like a charm.

It was fine. Of course they sent the wrong color but we were able to prime and paint it to match our windows anyway. We had to chew the window up a little to make it fit as well because of the larger rivet that needed to pass through the windows. Other than that it works fine.

2 days of use and the crank is slipping.

Exactly fit my old window

I'm so glad I found these for my old casement windows. They fit right into the old settings. I had to drill out the holes slightly though to make them a bit bigger, but that was pretty easy. My only suggested change would be to make them in additional colors, especially a gloss black which more closely matches the original color in many of the original windows.

utter crap. tin metal construction, wobbles like mad. Spend the money on a proper arm if you want decent results. This may be suitable for a kids playhouse, but I would not ever install one of these in my house.
