I really like this water bottle. We have purchased five of them over the years and the most current purchase is replacing one that I’ve been using since 2019. There are several pros and the main ones are that if you fill it with ice, your drinks will stay cool for over 24 hours. We pretty much use ours for water so we don’t have to worry about ice watering our drinks down, but I’m sure if you put another drink in there like lemonade or a sport drink that it would stay cool even with less than a little to no ice. The second main pro is that you have two different types of lids: a straw type and the quick chug type. I use a straw and my daughter likes to drink hers with the big open chug style. The main con is with the flip up straw function, which is what I actually use the most. Sometimes a little bit of water will catch in the top of the lid after you close the straw, and it will spill out a few drops. It’s not very much and I’m kind of used to it so it doesn’t bother me much but it’s annoying at first.

I first bought the 64 oz. bottle a year ago, because I drink a lot of water at night and wanted a big bottle that would stay cold all night long and hold a significant amount of water. This bottle went above and beyond my expectations. I noticed the first time I put ice in it that when I went to fill it the following night, the ice still hadn't melted, after 24 hours. Amazing. That to me is the best thing about these, how long they can actually keep a drink cold, but it isn't the only great feature. The bottles are elegant and well designed. They're heavy duty and feel super sturdy. I dropped my 64 oz down the stairs trying to carry it with a laundry basket and it didn't dent or even really scratch. The bottles are super easy to clean, each piece of the lid comes off so you don't have to worry about scum forming around the straw. I loved it so much that a few months later I bought two more, the purple and black 32 oz bottles. My wife and I wanted to start making our own iced lattes during the summer, since they're like 8 dollars each now, and needed a good bottle with a straw that would keep our drinks cold throughout the day. I instantly thought to look up if they sold 32 oz bottles (size of a large Dunkin iced latte) and sure enough they did so I got them. They've been awesome! I work outside a lot and even In the summer my drink stays ice cold and the ice won't melt until long after I've finished it. Took advantage of the prime day sale and ordered another two (40 oz white and purple). They are extremely well priced compared to their competitors. It's just really refreshing to find a company that makes quality built to last products at a decent price. Can't recommend these enough.

I've had a few steel vacuum insulated water bottles like this and this is easily the best one I've tried. It hits the most important marks of keeping my water cold all day (even if it's been in a hot car for a while) and being leak proof, but one of the biggest concerns before I received the product was the straw lid. If you search around on Amazon for one of these bottles that comes with a straw lid, you'll find many reviews saying they work terribly. Even some reviews for this one weren't favorable for the straw. But I am happy to report that the straw works perfectly. This was actually the main reason that I was shopping for a new bottle, because the straw lid I had for my Hydro Flask would randomly become very hard to suck out of and I would have to partially unscrew the lid to allow more air in since the little air valve evidently wasn't working correctly. With the Thermoflask I have not had this issue one bit. Every time it's extremely easy to suck water through. And not only that, but the end of the straw mouthpiece is rubberized and feels well-made. The top of it is slightly rounded so it's more comfortable than some that have a completely square shape. It's also nice that nothing aside from the straw sticks straight up from the cap that you can hit your nose on when you go to take a drink. That was another problem I had with my Hydro Flask straw cap. So I would definitely recommend this a good quality alternative to some of the more expensive brands like Yeti or Hydro Flask. The one piece of advice I would give is make sure you know what size you're choosing. I picked the 40 oz not really understanding exactly how big that would be because it's hard to tell from the pictures. It turns out it's kind of massive. It's nice that you don't have to fill it as often and is perfect for taking on trips where you might not have access to water for a while, but if you're going to use it as a daily office water bottle, you might want to consider the smaller size or be prepared to grab a nice heavy object every time you take a drink. The 40 oz also won't fit in a lot of cup holders.

Updated- Bottle did come with chug cap. I found it in the bottom of the packaging. Thermoflask is a great bottle, however what I received was not as advertised. Listing says bottle comes with both chug lid and the straw lid. Bottle received only came with straw lid. I don’t want the straw lid.

This is my second one, and they are great. No leaks and keep things cold all day. There is a chug lid that came with it. At first I didn’t think there was because it was not in the inside box with the bottle, straws, and straw lid. When I checked the outside box, found that it was at the bottom on the box, hidden by a cardboard wall. It was not visible without reaching my hand down there.

It works great. I went with the 40z to avoid having to refill often. 4 large ice cubes keeps the water cold for about 6-8 hours. Ice cubes left in it empty overnight are still frozen by morning. It's not the most extreme insulation on the market but it's a good compromise with being thinner/lighter which makes it perfect for daily use, filled once or twice throughout the day. A real upside to this design is the 2 tops it comes with. Both are high quality and clever design, unlike many cheaper canteens for sale. The straw spout is fully capped with a softer material that's nice to drink from. But most useful is the handle design. You can comfortably drink and carry from the narrower cap, even when it's completely full, without having to ever touch the wider body. So you've got great control over the bottle no matter what you're doing. It also gives you leverage to open and tighten and the cap so there's never any leaks. This is perfect for people with smaller hands, though the keyhole shaped handle will fit any size hands. It's VERY clever and much more functional than the pivoting strap design on most other canteens. The caps were the big reason I chose this over others and it really does make a difference when I use it every day. It's the main reason I want to leave a review, since some designer made a pretty noticeable improvement with that clever trick. For someone else that complained about the noise, the straw has a pretty high flow rate which is usually nice. To avoid any noise you just have to drink more slowly, like you're sipping through a regular straw. But the second included cap is general purpose, and has a latch mark on the swing-back cap so it won't flop forward while you're drinking or pouring.

Great for school day. Every great item. It comes with spare straws and another lids for replacement.

I really like the bottle it helps me drink a minimum of 1.2 litres a day which is fantastic. I had the bottle for a few months and it has been dropped a few times hence the scuff marks on the pic. Otherwise a great bottle, keeps my warm drinks warm and cold drinks cool. I have left it accidentally in a warm car and when I came to get it the water was still cool which was nice. comes with two straws and two caps. Will buy again cos it's great value for the price

After starting regular exercise being adequately hydrated is very important. So i started searching water bottles online. My main requirement was bottle should be BPA free. I stumbled upon many plastic water bottles claiming to be BPA free but upon research found that they release toxic chemicals after getting exposed to UV rays specially the coloured ones. So stainless steel water bottles was the obvious choice. But most of the stainless steel flasks online have a wide mouth and I hate it as I have to be careful while drinking as water may spill over tshirt. So more research led me to this Thermoflask bottle. So I bought it and now after using it for few weeks I am really really happy. This is the best water bottle for my needs. It comes with 2 lids and although i like the straw lid but the leak-proof Chug lid is my favourite as water flows more freely and I can drink more with ease. Also the cap of the chug lid is attached to the bottle so you don't need to worry about losing it or putting it on some dirty surface while drinking. Also I must mention it is the best value for money as the price is super reasonable compared to other popular brands like Hydro Flask which i don't like anyway due to their wide mouth opening. Last but not the least I was confused about which size to order as I don't want to fill it again and again and also don't want something super bulky that i can't carry it while travelling. So 40 oz is the correct size for me as it holds sufficient water (more than 32oz) and also much easier to carry (compared to large 64 oz).
