Q: How to enable standard buttons, not power, after installing argonremote.zip for libreelec? only the power button works.

After installing the argonremote.zip file then restarting. you should have the Argon ONE Config icon in the PLUGINS. All buttons should be working by then. You can try to uninstall and reinstall if you are having issues.

Q: Does this work with the original argon one v1 case? i don't want to waste money if it doesn't

The Argon One V1, from what I can tell, has no infrared receiver. So no, it will not work with a stock V1 case. Furthermore, unless you are running a LibreElec version of Kodi, the only remote control functionality that works is the on/off button. I have built my system with the V2 case and it has a few quirks to get the remote working (meant to do a write-up but now I cannot remember LOL).

Q: Will this turn the volume up and down on a Sonos sound bar?

The only device this will control is the argon case. It can control the source audio only, depending on your setup, I would imagine it would work. The remote only works with libreelec.

Q: Does this provide pause/play functionality?

not directly, but yes. you can use the remote to pause/play video. In libreelec, clicking the center button brings up the menu, clicking a 2nd time, pauses the video.

Update: chatGpt helped solve my issue. LibreElec- Install the “Argon ONE Control” add-onGo to Add-ons → Install from repository → LibreELEC Add-ons → Program add-ons → Argon ONE ControlThe product description clearly states best suited for raspberry pi libreelec/kodi. After going through all of the hastle of programing and setting up the config. only the power button works. nothing else. WTH is the point of just a power button on the remote. lol smh Theres ZERO product support for this.

Works with Argon cases and Retropi

Using with a Pi4, a Argon case with adapter running RetroPi.Works as expected.

Works fine, but software support needs to keep up with versions

This is a fine remote for people using the RPi/Kodi combo as I am...but beware software version incompatibility. LibreElec 10 is now current, and software for this is broken.

Very simple little remote that works great

This remote has very simple/limited functionallty, which is obvious from the photograph. It works great.

Doesn't work with argon case. The only case it's compatible with.

This remote only functions with one type of case and the one they sent me will not accept any signals from the controller. While it is hard to determine which of the devices is causing the issue since they are paired together I will go with neither is functioning. It isn't my job to determine which if I paid good money for a working product.

Love it.

I don't understand the issue with others. I really installed the add-on, installed the remote and fan software with it in one shot. Works flawlessly. Love it so much I'm going to build a second for a friend. This was with a Argon One M.2.
